As I watched the sign…enchanted with it’s sparkly bedazzlement and captured by my curiosity, wondering why I was seeing this one simple word so intensely in my mind’s eye, the sign began to morph. I don’t know that I’ve ever been so entirely inside a movie while watching it, and though there have been other movies that have moved me deeply, I can’t recall another movie that has ever taken me inside its world in such a way that I felt it undesirable to leave that world when the movie ended. I felt at home on Pandora, and like characters in the movie, I felt a longing to stay.
