Seriously though, Here’s what I’ve been finding as I’ve been doing my own search to connect more fully with what I want (life passions, career and yes even my blog). As I go out into the world and connect with others I’m learning so much. Every new article gives me an idea or sometimes just a reminder. Every new contact or conversation gives me more information or distinctions that are helping me discover what I truly want.

In the past 2-3 months my discovery about what I want changed. It’s evolving and the energy around it (with LOA) is growing. The feeling is nice and as I’m learning this morning (my post about 6 steps for being in the flow) being in the flow is the only place to be.

So I would take what you’re learning and recognize that your wants and desires are constantly moving, changing and evolving. All is well.

I appreciate your entire comment and this bit was a stand-out:

I continually remind myself of this. Oh my goodness. My life is amazing every day. And sometimes when I’m considering other choices, where we’re headed next..yada yada…it can be dizzying and I lose track of the most important, fabulous-ness of the here and now.

LOVE your analogies! …and how did you know that ‘talking frisbee’ with me would make so much sense? How did you know that my frisbee can definitely (at times) end up in the mango tree?

Unless of course I close my eyes, take my mind and it’s attempts at analyzing/logisticallizing (new word, like it? ;~) where the frisbee *should* go out of the picture so to speak…then the frisbee seems to reach it’s target with amazing accuracy!

Imagine that! I know where I want my frisbee to go; I see it clearly in my mind’s eye, I trust that it will stay the course and it does. Perfect.

(We won’t go into what it looks like when I attempt to catch the frisbee…we’ll write another post another time making that relative to what it’s like to receive!)

By the way, the bit about “athletic prowess” and “fretting over appearing to be an avid indoorsman”? Yeah. No more fretting here.

I know who I am. Those of you who know me personally know who I am.

Let’s just say the words athletic prowess have never been used to describe me and I’m comfortable being an avid indoorsman who loves to be outdoors appreciating nature. Just let me sit still…or just walk, hug trees, talk to birds and squirrels…yeah…I like it like that. :0)

I say YES to growing together; I know no better company to practice the spiritual art of frisbee throwing with!

have you ever played frisbee? because i have and usually it goes a little something like this:
i look at where I want it to go, i think about where i want it to go, i do what seems like my best to get it there, and more often than not it winds up in a different place. at least on the first few tosses.
what is strange about this to me is that the frisbee always, without fail, goes EXACTLY where i tell it to go. it cannot do anything else. it’s mechanically impossible. so the choice at that point is to move on to synchronized swimming or practice.
with practice, something about all of the error in judgment gets worked out by mysterious places in the brain that say to your hand, “not like that again or it’ll be right back up in that mango tree.” and slowly, the alignment comes. the desire, our natural ability to unconsciously adjust to the situation, the mechanical skill and the preferred outcome all line up in perfect harmony. the less thinking about it, the more patience, the easier and faster the results. whereas questioning your athletic prowess and fretting over appearing to be an avid indoorsman only ensure many climbs up the mango tree.

Amen to that!! And amen to releasing the attachment to the idea of a “perfect outcome” that sometimes stalls us in our creative tracks.
