I’ve noticed over the last couple days I seem to have the same tune running through my mind, over and over again. It’s a little song we used to sing with the home school kids on Kauai…I wish you could hear the tune…just imagine happy, bouncy and light with just the right amount of syncopation. Here are the lyrics:
I am the only one who can make myself happy.
I am the only one who can fill my life with joy.
I am the only one who can make myself happy.
I open up my heart and let my love create my world!
I don’t wonder why this song keeps popping in…I understand it’s a gift from my Higher Self; a reminder of the Love and the Light that we are. I understand that my Higher Self knows I may just need a little reminder, a True Reality check, during these days when so much is reflected that I could choose to respond to with negativity or unhappiness.
If you catch yourself feeling blue…think of this little song; repeat it to yourself. Or, if you’re like me, shout it at the top of your lungs and watch a smile zoom across your face as your cells light up with recognition. Then, share it with the world!
I am grateful every moment for my Higher Self, the Wholeness of Me that is connected 24/7 and beyond to Source. I Open Up My Heart and Let My Love Create My World!

What a lovely message! This is a message to put on your mirror so you can see it first thing every morning. What kind of a day do you think you’ll have, if every day you start with this inspiring idea? I love that it puts you in the driver’s seat – it is up to you what your life is, what reality you experience.

How sweet and generous it was of you to post yourself singing the song on YouTube, Debra! Now I can sing it, too. If any of us put the words on our mirror, now we’ve got the melody to go along with them. What a great song to have in your mind all day – beautiful and perfect! Thank you, Debra.
