Valid vibrational advice.

There’s a huge wave building right now across the internet asking us to say NO to something important.

I’m not a huge fan of saying no to things I don’t want.
I’d prefer to say yes…to what I want, rather than no, to what I don’t want.

Some may pose, what’s the diff??
There’s a huge difference when we consider that everything is energy…or vibration.  And that’s all.  …that’s everything.

Stop SOPA!

Across the internet, big presences such as Google and Wikipedia, among many others are ‘Going Dark today (Jan. 18) to Protest SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and its sibling the Protect IP Act (PIPA).

This article explains more and offers a list of big players on the net who’ve chosen to ‘go dark’ today.

The Crux

Which brings me to the crux of my JOY of Brilliance vantage point.

While I feel very strongly about FREEDOM…and Freedom of Speech and Expression, I feel less than enthused by any thing that is ‘protest-y’ or ‘against’.  (Which tends to be the angle of most things political, from my perspective.)

It feels upstream, full of effort and resistance to me.

Look at the statement…  “Going Dark to Protest SOPA (Stop…)”

That statement is filled with all sorts of resistance and stuff we don’t want.

And yet, I know that those in favor of stopping SOPA want what I want…they’re just not expressing it from a Law of Attraction vibrationally based vantage point.

They’re expressing it in a way that will give power to exactly what they’re ‘against’.

Can you see it?

In order for me to participate in this wave at all…  My focus has to be in a brighter direction.  If it’s not, I’m giving my power away and actually encouraging that which I don’t want.

Because I do feel this is an important wave of potential change, I am choosing this vantage point for my participation and I invite you to as well:

Shining LIGHT to Encourage and Allow Continued JOYous FREEdom of Speech and Expression.

• Instead of “Stop!”, “Allow.”
• Instead of “Dark”, “Light”.
• Instead of “Protest”, “Encourage/Support”.

Can you imagine how much relief there would be if we would all focus our attention in a more vibrationally positive, supportive direction?

Can you imagine what we could create?

• We are limitless loving beings.
• We are potentiality in human bodies.
• We are Pure Light radiating in all directions.
• We are Infinite Power beyond measure.
• We have a choice in how we catalyze that power and harness it for good.
• We are positive change agents.
• We are FREE thinkers.
• We are FREE BE-ers.
• We choose the direction of our thoughts.
• We choose our reality.
• We create our reality.
• WE are.

…and WE make a difference.

What will you choose your difference to be? 
Where will you focus to make a difference?

Today, say YES! to Freedom of Speech.

Say YES! to allowing the internet to be the inspiring, content rich resource that is has always been…

• A place for us to explore.  A place for us to travel to uncharted territory.  A place for us to erase boundaries and borders.
• A place for us to get to know each other, our brothers and sisters in one united global family.  A place for us to share our hearts, minds and spirits.
• A place for us to birth new thought.
• A place for us to be with each other, out on the leading edge.
• A place for us to feel connected.  A place for us to feel supported.
• A place that brings us joy.  A place where we can relate.  A place that brings us hope.
• A place that now feels like home.  A place we’ve grown accustomed to.
• A place we appreciate.  A place we respect and cherish.
• A place that represents freedom in a global sense.

We are the internet.  We are the WEB of this thing called life!

Say YES! to Freedom of Speech.  Allow FREE Expression.

 Raise Your Vibrationally Aligned Voice!

Today, with this higher vibe vantage point…  Let your congress people know that the power of the people is in our hands and we support FREEDOM on the internet.  (And until our wave of vibrationally aligned positive flow of change catches on, today…say no to SOPA…knowing that you’re saying YES! to Liberty, YES! to Freedom.)

Abraham’s talked a lot lately about staying general, until the vibe is so high that you’re amply prepared to get specific.

In this case, it feels good to stay general…  (I know there are specifics within this topic…and I know they’ll take most of us upstream.  Choosing general feels better, to me.)

It Feels Good!

It feels good to Support Freedom.

All the rest feels encumbered and upstream.  (That’s not my path.)

Some may call it PollyAnna.  I’m cool with that.  I like my rose colored glasses.  Always have.  Always will.

Seems to be working for me.

Better and better.  All the time.

What I’m Seeing ~

Seeing FREEDOM as our pathway.

Seeing humanity awake to our brightest potential.

Seeing being deliberately, inspiringly, vibrationally aligned as the grooviest way to BE.

Seeing LIGHT illuminating all.

For forever, I’ve LOVED the word inspiration.

• I love the FEELING of being inspired.
• I love the feeling of creating from an inspired place within me.
• I love the rush of JOYful elation and creativity I feel when inspiration floods through me.
• Inspiration feels LIGHT, connected, Source sourced.
• Inspiration feels LIMITLESS.

When I hear phrases like, “are you motivated?”, “what motivates you?”, “what is your motivation?”… I feel less than enthused.

• Motivation can feel a little sticky,
• kind of heavy
• and a little hard…
• like something I have to do, more than something I want to do.
• I feel a sense of agenda and a certain LIMITEDness.

Feelings Matter!

I’ve known forever that my feelings matter; that they are the ultimate indicators and messengers of what’s really going on for me.  I began referring to this as my Resonance Barometer a long while back.  I know, without a doubt that my feelings (and the physical sensations they register) inform me of how closely (or not so closely) I’m currently aligned with my Joy of Brilliance Me…the ME I am born to be.

Inspired Brilliance!

I talk a lot about Inspired Action (which leads to Deliberate Creation) and how that’s the only kind worth taking…when we’re talking about creating the reality we desire.

Sure, sometimes there are things we’ve just got to do.  We may not always feel exactly inspired to clean the house or do the laundry or grocery shop.  So…we may look to motivation to get that job done, and that’s OK.

The point is, knowing the difference, and knowing that rocking your Joy of Brilliance, or being in the Vortex as Abraham calls it, and grooving to your own unique rhythm and flow is sure to induce plenty of inspiration for you to channel in to a myriad of potentials.  Isn’t that exciting?  I feel SO inspired by that!

Abraham on Motivation and Inspiration~

Here’s what Abraham had to say about Motivation and Inspiration that totally rocked my world…

“(We’ll talk about) the difference between motivation and inspiration.

Motivation is an outside the vortex (Abraham’s word for ‘being in the zone’, in your Joy of Brilliance, where everything lines up & your manifested reality is as you dream/create it to be) stance.  Where, I’m aware that if I don’t do such and such that there will be negative repercussions.  So, I’m going to make myself do it, I’m going to motivate myself, I’m going to remind myself that if I don’t do this then something bad or worse will happen.  And so, I motivate myself to go to work because I don’t want to make anyone upset there and I don’t want to lose my job, and I don’t want money to stop coming.  That sort of thing.

“Motivation is action that I am compelled to from outside the vortex; while inspiration from our point of view is being close enough to this vortex that’s already assembled.

I put everything there, bit by bit by bit, it is amassed and it has become this reality that the larger part of me literally is…and if I get close enough to the vibrational frequency of it, meaning  I have little resistance within me, then I’m going to be called in by the powerful Law of Attraction.

It’s not going to require me doing something.  I’m not going to have to make myself do it.  It’s like the stars align.

It’s like the difference between being in a hurry and trying to get somewhere and having every light be red, and people get in your way, and then suddenly you realize you’re behind somebody who’s got their flashers on because their car isn’t operating and then when you try to pull around somebody else is in your way.

In other words it’s like things going wrong as you try to push your way through it.  That’s sort of what motivation is.

Where, inspiration is being so close to the frequency of everything that I’ve put into my vortex that Law of Attraction is calling me and I’m following…because I care about the way I feel…to this nice flowing, nicely unfolding, very blissful experience.”

Abraham says, “as long as you’re feeling inspiration when moving toward it, then you’re moving in the right direction.”

 

Dear Dictionary…

Love what my Mac Dictionary says for Inspiration,

“a sudden brilliant, creative, or timely idea.  …divine influence…  the process of being mentally stimulated to do or FEEL something.”

No wonder I like inspiration!

And even the dictionary is less enthusiastic about Motivation!  It simply says,

“the reason(s) one has for acting or behaving in a particular way.  The general desire or willingness of someone to do something.”

See, motivation is more about a simple willingness.  And it sure feels sourced more from obligation than anything more…inspired.

What’s the Difference?!

You’re willing to do the dishes, but not necessarily inspired.  Although, I’ve found that while doing dishes, cooking, cleaning, showering, etc…some amazingly inspired thoughts and ideas tend to flow in.  So, appreciating those things we motivate ourselves to do…seems to allow space for inspiration to flow in.  Seems like a win/win to me!

So, that’s it!

Inspiration = IN your Joy of Brilliance. IN the flow of everything that’s aligned.  In the flow of the energy that creates worlds.

Motivation = OUTside of who you really are. It’s about willingness, it’s about doing, but it’s not as juicy, because it’s doing just for the sake of doing.  It’s not so much something that flows from INside…as it’s something that tends to be sourced outside.  There’s just never as much JUICE there.

I’m Going to PUMP YOU UP!

I grew up in the age of “motivational speakers” and there are still many who call themselves that.  It (they) never appealed to me. Somehow, I always felt the motivation was coming AT me…from outside me.  Now, I understand it was.

Now that I’m a speaker, I’ve never used the word motivational to describe me, though some have reflected back to me…  “You’ve motivated me to make a change.”  “Your message is so motivational.”  I appreciate this, and I know what they mean…

And yet, for this word-vibration-loving-girl, I have to say I LOVE these responses so much more,  “I feel so inspired listening to your message.”, “You inspired me to be more of who I really am.”, “The inspiration I felt inside me while listening to you was like bubbles of JOY multiplying a million times over.”  (Yeah, I LOVE that one!)

Why?  Because I know what inspiration energy creates.  I know where feeling inspired takes you.  I know the gift of inspired creation…and it’s living a reality beyond your wildest dreams.

This year we (in PackerLand…home of the Green Bay Packers!) were just given another HUGE reason to celebrate…we won (well, the guys in the green and gold, on the field) won Super Bowl XLV!!!!  Can I get a wOOt?!?  Now, I’m not even a big ol’ football fan.  I’ll tell you what I am, though.  I’m the BIGGEST FAN EVER of FEELING JOY and BASKING IN JOY…and MILKING it for all it’s worth. Yup.  I’m a FAN of Celebrating all things that induce uninhibited, free flowing, juicy, wild and crazy JOY…from the inside, out.

What’s to Celebrate?!

Celebrate BIG! Your JOY is Waiting

Not sure?  Nothing immediately screaming to be celebrated?  Look closer.
The thing is…I’m pretty darn good at finding things to celebrate, even if there’s not a biggie like a birthday or an anniversary on the calendar. How about you?

Top 10 Reasons to Celebrate RIGHT NOW!

1. SUNRISE! (In case you haven’t noticed, it does it EVERY SINGLE DAY.  Without question.  It rises.  Gifting us a new day, a new beginning, a new life.  Now *that’s reason to celebrate…don’t you think?!?)
2. BREATH! (Yeah!  Cool right?  If you’re reading this, you’re breathing. That’s HUGE reason to celebrate, in my opinion.  Breath = LIFE.)
3. PRESENCE! (No, not the wrapped kind.  The ‘here I AM‘ kind.  The I exist, I BE…kind.  Can you feel how remarkable that is? Holla!!)
4. LOVE! (Seriously.  There’s a whole lot of it.  Look around.  Look within.  FEEL it. Tap into it.  Celebrate it.  LOVE, just for the sake of loving…love what ever feels good to LOVE.  Just LOVE.  …and celebrate it!)
5. LIGHT! (OK…so I know we already celebrated the sunrise…this one’s about the LIGHT that is within.  Your BRILLIANCE. The very essence that breathes through you…from the heart, from your soul…the Source Energy that you are.  SHINE On, Brilliant One…and celebrate your luminescence! )
6. HEART! (Yours.  Different than Love…and very much the same.  It’s a gift.  It pulses LIFE through your very being-ness. You are alive, thanks to your heart.  Put your hand there…feel your heart beating…connect to the rhythm of you.  Can you feel it?  It’s a party…going non-stop, 24/7…until it doesn’t anymore and then a whole ‘nother party starts!  Celebrate it!)

8. FREEDOM! (Freedom to choose.  EVERYthing! (OK, so some of the other ‘things’ on this list are already about or in you…I know.  And…this one’s about celebrating the WHOLEness of YOU.  The Divine Brilliance of YOU.  The JOY of YOU…just for the JOY of it.  Do you know how AWESOME you are?  I do!  And I’m celebrating YOU right now.  And now.  And NOW. …Still celebrating…

Coolest List EVER!

Wanna know why?  This is the coolest list ever because it is CELEBRATION WORTHY at ALL TIMES!!!

• It’s not dependent on a birthday, anniversary, superbowl winning, or any other sort of click on the calendar.
• This list is reason to celebrate every moment of every day.
• This list, when celebrated makes your inner JOY bubble forth like nobody’s business!  And that’s the heart of the whole thing.

It’s funny, isn’t it?  The importance we place on the shedding of the old…and the birthing of the new, more so on this one particular day of the year, than ever.

In my experience, I’ve observed this experience in the tide, in the moon and in the changing of the seasons.  The gentle waxing and waning of nature…she moves, shifts, retreats and renews again.  In this way, so it is with the new year.  It’s a cycle.  A reminder of the retreat, the waning, the death of the old and the waxing, renewal, and birthing of the new.

Turn, Turn, Turn~

This cycle is not only available to us at certain times of the year.  These beautifully influential times of the year serve as examples of the power of cycle that is available to us in every moment.  One of the shortest examples is that of the sun rising and falling each day…and while it rises on us here in the Northern Hemisphere…it sets on our brothers and sisters in the Southern Hemisphere, demonstrating the LIGHT that continually shines.

JOY Jumping New Story!

The very shortest cycle I can think of in this moment, that is not directly related to linear time, is that of our breath.  I love the significance of breathing.  The rise, the fall.  The breath in, the breath out.  Steady.  Sure.  Natural.  Each breath a beginning and end unto itself.  We breathe in these physical bodies, until we don’t any more…and then re-member ourselves with the Oneness of All…and we breathe forever more.

My point in bringing our awareness to these cycles of old and new is purely to soften the importance (and sometimes the stress, or obligation to responsibility) we place on this one night…and following morning of the year.

Tabula Rasa!

After all…  Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end!  The book is yet unwritten!  Tabula Rasa!  Clean Slate!

…Feels like a continuously refreshing invitation to me!  **And that FEELS GOOD!**

Some of us make resolutions.
(I’ve never found them to work as well as I’d have liked.  They feel like empty ideas, much to staunch in their DOing or NOT DOing, based on lack, that I may or may not believe will even happen. They have induced feelings of unworthiness, desperation, restrictedness…and the list goes on.  These are not feelings I cherish.  Resolutions get set…but rarely from an inspired, aligned space.  Which in turn, sets us up for short lived success or possibly even failure.)

Some of us set intentions.
(Perhaps a softer approach.  It feels more like a plan, and can take some of the foreboding pressure that we feel with resolutions off.  Intentions feel more open-ended, more promising, more hopeful.  These feelings are at least a wee bit more palatable…and pleasing to our experience.  Intentions allow us the space for shifting and can be more aligned with the outcome we desire.  In my opinion, if we’re still not lined up with what it is that we really want, they still fall short from their…well, intentions.)

The Power of Our Story. More and more, I’m recognizing the power of our story.  How the story we tell…and the thoughts and feelings that go along with it, are what creates our world.  I’ve known this for a very long time…and I’m coming more and more into owning it every day.  When we bring our attention to every active story in our life experience, we realize there is lots of content…many chapters to focus on.  In the telling of our story, we can make the empowered choice to give our attention to the positive aspects.

Abraham says, on card #15 of their Money and the Law of Attraction deck:

“Make a decision to look for the best feeling aspects of whatever you must give your attention to, and otherwise look only for good-feeling things to give your attention to—and your life will become one of increasingly good-feeling aspects.”

So…here we are, on the brink of a SHINY NEW YEAR.
As we step across the threshold…

• Which stories will you take with you?
• Which ones will you leave at the door?
• And most importantly, which NEW STORIES will you bask in the creating of?

A Continuously Renewable Invitation~

• I invite that every moment is a new beginning…our very own Tabula Rasa, clean slate!  …and that, my friends, is reason to celebrate!
• I invite the notion that every day is the beginning of a New Year.  It is, of course.  The year that stretches from today…one day less than exactly a year from now.
• (I invite that every day we choose to place our attention not on the old, not on some aspects of our story that aren’t working, not on more of what we don’t want.)
• I invite that we begin, again and again, we begin to focus our brilliance, our attention on the new, on the positive aspects of the story we desire to live…thereby creating that very experience ahead of ourselves.
• I invite that we focus on what’s working, and on what we truly want.  And as we do, we watch our world magically and purposefully unfold before us, meeting us in an experience of better and better all the time.

I’ve been a very, very good girl.  How do I know?  Because I feel good, happy, awake, vibrant, alive and well.  And I like feeling like that.  So I just keep on reminding myself how good it feels…and the feelings keep renewing!

Have there been any days that weren’t ‘all that’?  Maybe.  But Santa, you know as well as I do that where we focus, magically creates more of the same.

So Santa…

I’m choosing to focus on the Feel Good.  (Which is why I’m writing this letter to you…)

Dear Santa…

I’ve been a very, very good girl.

I believe in abundance.  I believe in dreams come true.  I believe that JOY is my merry purpose.  (Pretty sure it’s yours, too! ) I believe that SHINING is my Birthright.

Me and my BIG heart appreciate all that life has delivered to me over the last year.

What I appreciate most are the FEELINGS I’ve felt…

Feelings like~

• Passion
• Exhilaration
• Peace
• Feisty Friskiness
• JOY (and all it’s Happy Cousins, including GLEE, Euphoric & Bliss!)

Hey Santa…

Know what’s cool?  Now that I’ve experienced all of these nifty feelings, they’re mine.  And because they’re mine…I can feel them again.  And again.  Cool, right?

What do I want?  More of the same and better, of course!

But, don’t sweat it, Santa.  I know it’s all up to me.

I know it’s not your responsibility to bring me happiness or JOY…or anything else for that matter.

I also know that everything I want is available to me…all I have to do is enJOY life, line up with the feel good…have FUN…and allow…and open my heart and my arms to receive.  And I can DO that!  Easy Peasy!

So all I’m asking Santa, is that you keep shining.  You know, your eyes how they twinkle, your dimples how merry…a right jolly, (b)old elf.

Because clearly, you’ve got JOY and a whole lot of other feel good vibes fully covered.

You’re an inspiration, Santa.

I know this letter is somewhat unorthodox.  You won’t mind; you like it like that.

After all, anyone who lives at the North Pole with hundreds of elves, eating cookies all day and playing with reindeer while you get ready to fly across the sky one night a year to deliver good vibes to good little boys and girls, GETS unorthodox!

You GET it, Santa.  And I just wanted you to know that I get it, too.  I like magic.  Heck, if the North Pole wasn’t so darn cold all year, I’d probably come move in with you like Buddy the Elf did!

Have a blessed and abundantly JOYful Holiday and New Year, Santa!  (If that’s what you want, of course.  It’s your story, you get to write it as you desire it to be!  As do I…and the way I see it…it’s ALL looking pretty magnificently brilliant!)

“Beliefs are just thoughts that you keep on thinking; they’re just a habit of thought.  It’s just sort of the way you’ve always thought it, and so it is the way your are now thinking it.”

This one quote means so much and applies in so many different ways and scenarios.

Right now it’s got me considering the awesomely light and transformative power of those words.

“Beliefs are just thoughts we keep on thinking.”

We make it seem so challenging at times to change our beliefs.
In fact, sometimes we act as if changing our beliefs would be taboo.

We place value on our beliefs.

We act as if they are something engraved in stone that can not be washed away.

How funny is that??

Even something engraved in stone will wash away over time.

I know, this can be a touchy subject.  Some of you reading may be thinking…but my beliefs are important…they’re what shape me, mold me…make me who I am.

And I say, you’re absolutely right!

Do Your Beliefs Serve You?

This is why I’m writing this post.  If beliefs are important to the extent that they shape and mold our very being-ness…then I feel it’s critically important to reveal them for what they are so that we would never, ever think of limiting ourselves because of our beliefs.

When we embrace the idea that beliefs are just thoughts we keep thinking, it becomes apparent that if we change our thoughts we create new beliefs.

If we continue to think the same thoughts, our beliefs get etched more deeply into the stone of our thinking mind…

But if we give ourselves the room to create new thoughts, the etching softens and a new belief is honed.

The Heart of Belief

The beauty in this is that we can shape our beliefs on purpose, consciously, thereby giving ourselves limitLESS room for expansion and possibility to become the fullness of our brilliance in this magical life we’re leading.

Are you wondering what a limiting belief might sound like?

A Few Limiting Beliefs~

1. I could never have that job; I’m way too shy to relate with people that way.
2. I will never have the love of my life; partners never stay with me for long…they love and leave.
3. My weight will always be the burden that drags me down; I’ll never be thin and beautiful.

That will be enough to get most of you saying…

“Oh!!!  Yeah, I’ve had thoughts like that.  Hmphf.  So that’s a limiting belief, huh?”

It is if you keep telling it to yourself over and over again.

Remember?  Beliefs are just thoughts you keep thinking.

Using Your Power to Choose

Come, walk the high road with me and let’s re-shape that stone we’re honing.  Remember when we did some Re-Framing?  This is similar.

• Old belief (old story) #1:

I could never have that job; I’m way too shy to relate with people that way.

• New belief (new story) #1:

**there are as many options for this as your creative imaginings will allow**

I can have any job I choose.  I am confident.  I am comfortable with who I am.  I love myself and I appreciate knowing I have something to offer.  I enjoy relating with others and feel ease and grace in social situations.

Nice, huh?

What?  You’re thinking…a yeah, but that’s a bit of a stretch, one from the other?
Maybe.  Maybe not.

This story only works for you if you’re someone who (deep down in your heart of hearts) wants to have a job where you love relating to people and where worrying about being shy is a thing of the very distant past, not at all relative to your current desires and being-ness.

If you are the person who wants to switch it up and ditch the old belief that’s no longer serving you, then this new story…these new thoughts will serve you well on your way to a shiny new belief about you and your ability to work that job.

Beliefs are just thoughts you keep on thinking.  Get it?

• Old Belief (old story) #2:

I will never have the love of my life; partners never stay with me for long…they love and leave.

• New Belief (new story) #2

I love myself and therefore I know I am worthy of love.  Love finds me easily and it sticks around because I am so fun to love. I attract my perfect partner; the love of my life with grace and ease.  I love myself enough to know that I am never alone.  I love myself even when I’m alone!  My partner adores that about me and he/she stays because it feels so good!

Seriously.  It works.  Find thoughts that are more aligned with what you truly want and think them.  They will become beliefs.  They will become beliefs worth keeping; beliefs that serve you well.

• Old Belief (old story) #3

My weight will always be the burden that drags me down; I’ll never be thin and beautiful.

• New Belief (new story) #4

I love my body.  I love how my body supports and reflects my inner beauty and brilliance.  I feel beautiful.  I look in the mirror and I see beautiful.  My body is the perfect reflection of me.  My body weight gracefully maintains itself at its natural best.  I love myself.  I care for my body’s well-being.  My body is the vehicle for my expression in the world and I love and appreciate my body.  My body is healthy, vibrant and alive.

Notice in this one I chose not to focus on the word thin specifically?  I choose to focus on health, vibrance and vitality…and allow the body to naturally find it’s own brilliant beauty.  We can get caught up on what ‘thin’ looks like…that’s another post for another day!  For now, if this is a new story that’s attractive to you, focus on the aspects that feel good and go for it!  Create a new belief that serves…and in this case suits you better.

Love, Love, Love

There’s one more thing I’d like to point out that is inherent in all of these thought/belief switch ups.  Did you catch it?

They all include, “I LOVE MYSELF”.  There it is again.  That theme I just keep coming back to, and with good reason.

Self Love is and will always be the core foundation to your Joy of Brilliance shining forth for all the world to see and be blessed with.

Jeannette wrote a post pondering the possibility of outsourcing our manifesting to others who would be willing to see our desired outcome as reality for us.  She offered many examples along with this:

“I suspect something gets activated within us just by getting in the field of someone who believes in your possibilities.”

I felt a surge of knowing immediately, the power here…and that it had to do with connection.  The fact that we’re all connected, the pulse of the Universe pumping through each and every one of us…and that collective thought creates amplified manifestation.

In the well over 200 comments that flowed through the stream it became clear that this was a hot topic, one that took on an immediate life of its own and is still continuing to breathe and grow.

Outsourcerer

Friendly LOA savvy Good Vibers, myself included, started flowing their requests to the group and with profound love and authenticity the group responded by being active agents of the Universe…seeing each and every one of the requests made as a complete and wonderful reality.

Our Colorado house had been on the market for over a year and a half.  It had become for me bump in the road of ease and grace manifesting.  I couldn’t figure out why this house wouldn’t sell.  I didn’t personally subscribe to the blanket theory of a declining economy and didn’t see any reason why that notion need have any bearing on the sale of our house.

I thought I was doing very well at letting it go.  After all, a year and a half gives lots of opportunities to do that, again and again!

I felt Jeannette’s blog comment stream begging me to play and I thought…why not?  This feels really good and I’ve got nothing to lose. (Right there was the first key!  Two keys really…feels good…nothing to lose.)

I then, in Good Vibe style, sent my manifestation request out to the group.  And when I did, I seriously felt the strongest sensation of letting go I have ever felt.  (Another key! …I felt the RELEASE, the relief of letting go)

From Request to Success in Four Days!!

• On day one I made my request.  I asked the group to see our house sold in the next four weeks or sooner.  I gave them some details about the house and they took it from there.

• By the end of the second day they had manifested 4 new showings and most importantly, two SECOND showings!!  While we’d had showings, we’d never had a 2nd showing the entire time we’d been on the market!

• By the third day we had our first offer.  It was lower than we could accept, but it was an offer and that told me that we were in the vortex, we just needed a little fine tuning.

I kept the group informed and asked them to amp up the money offer vibe a bit more.

• By the fourth day we had an offer we were willing to accept and the house is now under contract!

Go Outsourcerers!

We celebrated HUGE success…all of us doing the Happy Dance together and now the Outsourcerers have wielded their wands for a smooth, successful closing of the sale.

Every fiber of my being knows it’s already done.

The Outsourcerers (known and unknown) are my extended family; we are children of the Universe.  Together, we act as agents of manifestation working with the Universe to bring desire to reality through the simple act of thought, of seeing (and feeling) it already done for each other…with Love, Joy and Pure Bliss.

If you choose to read the entire post and comment stream, chances are you’ll feel the charge that we all feel.  It feels good to help others.  It feels good to see success for others and in doing so, we see our own.  The bottom line?  It just plain feels good.  All of it.

Just recently I was talking with our realtor about creating a new marketing flyer for the house we’re selling in Colorado.  She thought it would be fun to play with the idea of “Seeking the Mystery Buyer”.

While this idea got my creative juices flowing, it stimulated my passion for Re-Framing.

3 Great Words to Re-Frame:

• Desperately
• Seeking
• Mystery

The word “seeking” within the ‘seeking the mystery buyer’ idea reminded me immediately of the movie title, ‘Desperately Seeking Susan’.  And when it did I literally laughed out loud and said, “Oh no, this little conscious creator will not give power to desperate anything!”

I am not desperate.  I have no desire to be desperate.  Immediately the magic of a re-frame appeared across the movie screen of my mind’s eye.

Desperately … Re-Frame … Deliberately

Ah yes!  But of course!  My friend, Deliberate.

Deliberate = Conscious, with intention, in charge, on purpose, with meaning, by choice…Deliberate. Perfect.

My attention then turned to “seeking”.  Hmmm…  “Nope, seeking will not do”, I thought.

Seeking implies I’m looking for something outside of myself…perhaps even something I can’t find, something out of reach, something not readily available to me, something hiding from me.

None of those scenarios give me any FEEL GOOD.  The vibes I feel conjure feelings of hopelessness and despair.  No thank you.

In my world everything I need and desire comes to me.  I am a magnet.  Magnets attract.  Bull’s eye!  My re-frame for “seeking” is “Attracting”!

Seeking … Re-Frame … Attracting

Great!  So now instead of ‘desperately seeking anything’ we have, ‘Deliberately Attracting Everything’.  That FEELS SO GOOD!  Yes?

In life I choose the vibe of deliberately attracting over desperately seeking every time.  Can you feel the difference?  Have you ever felt desperate about anything?  How does feeling deliberate register instead?

Our internal Resonance Barometer measures each of them quite oppositely.  Using our emotions as the indicator, we recognize that desperateness feels yucky and deliberateness feels good, positively charged.

We’ve been talking about Power lately, Authentic Power to be exact.  It’s easy to see that Deliberately Attracting is beautifully grounded in Authentic Power; sourced from the inside with Love.  YAY!

It’s no mystery~

In our realtor’s idea for ‘seeking the mystery buyer’, I felt one more word screaming to be re-framed.  “Mystery”.  I chuckled again thinking, “I may not know the buyer’s name or personal information, but this buyer is no ‘mystery’ to me.”

In fact, there are many things I know about our Perfect Buyer.  **Did you catch the re-frame?

Mystery … Re-Frame … Perfect

As defined by my Mac Dictionary Friend ‘Perfect’ means:  having all the required or desirable elements, qualities, or characteristics; as good as it is possible to be; highly suitable for someone or something; exactly right.

That sounds so…PERFECT!  :0)  Right?

Our buyer is no mystery to me.  I’m perfectly clear who our buyer is.

Our Perfect Buyer loves creative, peaceful environments, enjoys an incredible gourmet kitchen open to entertaining spaces, appreciates mature trees, privacy and being surrounded by nature with local conveniences just minutes away, adores the finer things~attention to detail and gorgeousness, recognizes an incredible deal when they see one, has a ready flow of accessible cash for a clean, smooth transaction, needs this house any time between now and fall of 2009.

Our perfect buyer knows quality, has dreamed of living in a house like this in a gorgeous, mature neighborhood like Fox Hill, and is blown away by the serendipity that drew them to this amazing house at this remarkably great price!  Our perfect buyer knows all about deliberate attraction (consciously or not!) and being in the right place at the right time!

No mystery at all.  Crystal clear.  Perfect.

We are Deliberately Attracting the Perfect Buyer.

The Magic of a Re-Frame~

Re-framing our thoughts and intentions makes an enormous difference in what it is we attract.  Let’s face it…we’re going to get what we ask for anyway…we may as well be conscious and deliberate about it!

Understand that as long as we are clear and deliberate in our wanting, in our asking, in our desiring; then we can go about enJOYing our lives, trusting that what we are attracting is brilliant, most likely surpassing and exceeding our highest imaginings and is already on its way to us.

Get clear.  Get deliberate.  Be BOLD in your declarations of what you want and always be open to being surprised at just how PERFECT, even *beyond perfect* the manifestations that are delivered to your doorstep are.

Just as the mantra comes from a spark of divine inspiration; so too does your voice.

What is your unique voice?

By this I mean, your essence, your spark, that which when ignited tells others without wonder who you are, who you’ve become or are yet becoming.  Your voice is as unique to you as your fingerprint.  Have you claimed your uniqueness?

Finding the voice that is YOU alone will support you endlessly.  When shared, this voice carries a quality of authenticity that builds trust amongst your tribe, your fans, your audience.

Are you using your voice, or that of another?

Do you know what your voice is, or has it been buried for so long you’re not sure?

If you could re-discover your uniqueness, would you be interested?

How could getting clearer with your voice make any difference to what you do?

Would it make a difference if people could feel the real you in your words?

Would it make a difference if people felt a deeper bond of loyalty to you because they trusted your ‘voice’?

I believe the answer to these questions is YES.  And I also believe that when we get a yes; it’s a call to action.  If you’re feeling a yes; then let’s get started!

Call to Action!

Here are some stimulating questions to help in getting clearer with your voice:

• What is the voice you’re currently sharing?

• Is it authentically, uniquely you?
  • If so, what are the things that make that true? If not, whose voice are you using?
  • Why? What are the qualities of that voice that you resonate (vibe) with?

• How could the voice you’re sharing be more accurate to the real you?
  • What could you add that would help others get a better sense of your true essence?

• Has your unique voice evolved over time with growing awareness, changing interests, etc.?
  • Is this an environmental influence of sorts?
  • Would your fingerprint change with changes in your environment?

Dig Deep~

These are not trick questions.  Only questions to have you dig a bit deeper.  Our finger prints don’t change.  They are with us from birth.

Our essence, that which is at the core of our being doesn’t change either.

It’s our life experiences, specifically our perspectives of those experiences,  that change and either bring us nearer or farther to that core essence.  The more aligned our thinking is with our true nature, the more in sync we are with our uniqueness.  Our essence.  Our brilliance.

Are You Listening?

It’s this core that we’re listening for.

This is our voice.  This is the voice we want to bring to every thing that we say or do.  This is the spark that when ignited shines our brilliance for all the world to see…and for our audience to align with as they feel supported in shining their own brilliance.

Isn’t this what we all desire, deep down?  It doesn’t matter what our job, vocation, or talent is.  This applies to them all.  It isn’t prejudiced; doesn’t segregate.  Deep down we all want to be who we are, be recognized and have others be able to do the same.  Consciously.

How can you impart “infinitely more than the mere surface sense of words seems to indicate” as the mantra does?

Simply by infusing your essence, your eternal spark of inspiration into every word you choose.  It’s about layers, depth and truth of character.

Jeannette’s post was about Vibrational Instruction.  What are the messages we’re sending to the Universe; the ones we say out loud, the ones we keep quiet, big ones and little ones, all of them.  How clear are we?  What instructions are we giving the Universe to work with?  Are they ever contradictory?

I Declare!

The post increased my awareness to something I’ve been thinking quite a lot about lately.  I am pretty great at stating my desires in positive Law of Attraction style when I’m consciously setting about to make a declaration.

I am getting better at being conscious of the smallest of details that I tell myself through out the day that may send mixed signals to the Universe.  (I almost wrote: “I could be better at…” but I stopped myself and reframed right away)  “I am getting better…” sends a much clearer message than “I could be better…” which can imply, “but I’m not”.

Recently I’ve been oh so aware of the little thoughts, emotions, etc. that race around stealthily attempting to stay hidden from my conscious awareness.  Funny buggers, I’ll tell you!  …and crafty.  YIKES!  Thoughts like, “what if I don’t like it?” (Universe delivers more of what I don’t like) or “Oooo, I’m just feeling so weird right now!”  (Universe responds: “OK, feeling weird coming right up”)

Getting to the root of it all~

As I was pondering what was at the root of my at times contradictory vibrational instructions to the Universe, I realized something consciously that’s been tapping me on the shoulder for weeks now.  (Does this ever happen to you?  It’s like the ‘aha moment’ when you suddenly realize that your higher self has been inviting an awareness conversation around a certain topic for weeks and you finally get around to engaging in the conversation consciously.  “Oh hi, higher self…yeah, I get it…yeah, that’s so interesting…!”  This is what I’m talking about right now.)

I realized that a big part of why I think I send somewhat contradictory instructions is because I truly know and believe that I am the creator of my life…that I have infinite choices available, limited only by how far I stretch my imagination…and I have a REALLY good imagination!

Do you hear what I’m saying??

I love lots of things…not just one or even a few.  So, when I make one choice I suddenly notice myself wondering if that’s really the choice I want.  …’cause I could create it differently; it’s up to me.  The canvas is blank, the palette is vast, the tools of creation infinite.  On one hand I jump for joy and gleefully give gratitude for such freedom, such a magnitude of possibility.  On the other hand I say, “Holy Hannah”!  (Seriously, that’s what I say…I don’t know why…I don’t even know a Holy Hannah!)

I’m just saying, am I crazy??  (…easy, it’s a rhetorical question; not meant to be answered.)

The Irony.

If there’s a place where I get stuck; this is it.  How ironic that the very frame of my belief that it’s all up to me, that I can create it exactly as I want it, is the very thing that has me frozen in time and space.

Does anyone else ever experience this?  Please tell me I’m not alone.  I know I’m not alone.  The very idea that I can choose whatever I want, that I have complete and total autonomy, that I am the creator of my experience at times keeps me from creating!  OY.

How Perfect.

As I’m writing this I’m realizing another thing.  I’m attached to a perfect outcome rather than being open to an ever evolving outcome that continues to match my vibrational frequency more and more with every aligned choice I make!  Mmmm…now *that* feels good.

My attachment to having a perfect outcome right away (and who’s to say it wouldn’t be??) is me holding myself back from my becoming!

Epiphanies are so cool; aren’t they?  No matter great or small they’re just so darn great!

SOLD!

We’re selling our house in CO right now and moving back to WI to be nearer family…and creating the opportunity to winter tropically.

This exact scenario of life transition has given me/is still giving me all the practice I need in paying attention to what vibrational instruction I’m vibing.

All the what if’s, yeah but’s, but why’s, how will’s and if only’s that have been flying out of my mouth…or quietly through the recesses in my mind lately are astounding.

Meanwhile, I wonder why things seem to reach a stand still at times?  Duh.  Hello.  The Universe is just patiently standing by waiting for me to get clear, release attachment and allow!

It’s really up to us now, more than ever.  We choose, we create it.  So the question is, what do we want?

Being a highly sensitive person who has always felt guided along the path; I’m still looking for the ‘lightening bolt’, the writing in the sky, the sign that says, “This Way” in bold letters.  Strong guidance saying…”this is your path”.

I believe things have shifted.  Now more than ever before the tools of creation are in our hands and it’s up to us.  We paint it the way we like to see it and the Universe delivers as we create.  It’s our choosing.

This Way

A couple days ago I had one of those days when I really had to consider if the best option would have been to stay in bed.  Way, way under the covers.

I haven’t had one of those in a long, long time.  From the moment I woke up I knew something was off.  I slept great the night before; which is a bonus because sleep time has been filled with all sorts of interesting ‘stuff’ for me lately.  (That’s another post, entirely.)  When I woke up, even though I slept a sound, restful eight hours, I felt so drained and tired; like I hadn’t slept at all.  Physically my body felt weak; not like when you have the flu, just spent.

As I got up and started moving around I also noticed something fairly unfamiliar to me these days.  I was GROUCHY, grumpy, feeling volatile…even combustible, like if anything were to ‘push the proverbial button’ I may just explode!  This isn’t like me.  Remember?  I’m Miss Happy Pants.  I might have waves of yuck flow through; this was different.  It felt sticky.  Heavy.  It didn’t feel like I could just shake it off; though I would certainly give that a fair shot!

Freeze Frame ~ Reframe

I decided I would do my best to reframe.  I followed my morning rituals for self-care.  Water blessing, gratitude time while drinking my water, green drink, and other feel good, supportive ingestables.

Exercise.  That would take care of it.  Nothing like some exercise to shift the energy, get some endorphins flowing, blood pumping, heart space activated, etc.  Apparently that wasn’t the best plan.  While it felt good at first and I thought I was on my way back to myself; suddenly I started feeling dizzy, faint.  I stopped and tried to regain myself.  And then continued…switching gears a bit to weight training rather than rebounding.  It happened again.  This was strange.  I made my way to a chair where I could just be with it…and not have to worry I was going to crash to the floor.  It took what felt like forever to come out of it.

When the woozies were gone I felt even more tired than before and still just as cranky.  I just plain felt as though a tsunami came rushing in without warning nearly claiming my mere existence, leaving me empty, hollow and mostly unresponsive.

There was nothing concrete to base this situation on.  There had been nothing to provoke this shift; nothing.  Seemingly nothing internally nor externally to cause such a wave of dissonance to wash over me.

You can do it!

Normally I could coach myself through an episode like this.  I’ve got all the tools.  I own what I know; walk the talk, practice what I preach…and in this case nothing seemed to be moving me through it.

Even just giving myself to it; lessening the resistance, would normally ease my way into relief.  Not this time.  So, I sat with it, laid with it, read with it, ate with it…and did my best to just BE with it.  By evening time the worst of it was starting to lift, like a dense fog evaporating slowly to reveal the light.

I slept well that night and the next day I felt *almost* normal.  I say almost because still today, two days later I continue to have a foggy brain and an uncertainty around my flow that I didn’t have a few days ago.  The momentum I felt before this ‘energetic storm’ has all but stopped.  The sense of purpose and direction I was moving in feels at a stand still, if not slightly askew.

Looks as if…

I recognize this is all a “looks as if”.  This too shall pass.  All storms do.  There’s always a silver lining and the pot of gold at the end of the glorious rainbow.  Until then.  I’ll be here.  And I’ll be OK.  I am OK.  (See?  That’s better already!  Lessen the resistance, bring on the relief.)

The fact that I’m able to write this is proof positive that storms come and they go.  The better we can equip ourselves to weather such storms, the better chance we have of coming out unscathed once we unbutton the hatches.

We are in times of great change.  This is not new news.  With all that’s shifting in the world, knowing that everything is energy, knowing that we are all connected, is it really too much to wonder that there would be waves like this?

Forecast:

Chance of precipitation likely over the next 24 hours (a good cry releases tension and allows space for the new, very cleansing)  The outlook is for sunny, brighter days ahead.  Ever increasing probability of clarity with major bursts of resonance and deep connection, accentuated by waves of deep insight.

Air Quality:

Fresh.  Breathe in.  Breathe out.  Expand.  Allow.

A trip to the Post Office.

Now, it’s December so going to any post office this time of year ‘can’ be a daunting task fraught with cranky, stressed out beings who don’t want to have to take the time to stand in enormously long lines waiting to send out their obligatory holiday packages (not my personal story…I’m just saying). I knew this was the potential atmosphere I could be entering and I consciously chose BEFORE even pulling into the parking lot (’cause that’s where it all begins…) that it was going to be a cheery, warm fuzzy experience. In so deciding of course I, myself, became (even more) cheery, warm fuzzy like and I’m pretty sure I was glowing. ;~)

Create it.

The lines were indeed long. Many people had what looked like Santa’s sack slug across their back with the weight of packages held snugly inside. As I took my place in line I consciously smiled and made eye contact with as many people as were looking in my direction. I stood behind another soul who seemed to be in good spirits and was soon sandwiched by another woman, an elder whose perfume reminded me of my dearly departed Grandma. (How’s that for reinforcing happy cell stimulation!?)

There were others in line with disgruntled looks on their faces, some with major toe tapping going on, others complaining to ??? on their cell phone about the length of the line and wasted time.

I just continued to exude my happy vibe…sharing and spreading the energy surely and quietly, intuitively inviting everyone present to meet me in my patient, happy place.

As if on cue, the good smelling Grandma behind me leaned forward and said to me, “I’m sure glad I’m not in any hurry today”. I turned to her and said, “yes…you know, the world rushes by so quickly, I’m just grateful to be here right now having a few moments to notice how very happy I am.” She looked taken aback for a brief second and then responded, “Oh yes! Me too…we all have so much to be grateful for.” By this time the woman in front of us had caught wind of our conversation and she joined in, supporting our “happy talk” and offering her own gratitude for the various blessings in her life. Soon we had engaged six people deep!

By the time we approached our turn we had all bonded, noticed a more relaxed vibe in the post office and giggled at how wonderful it was to have this time together with perfect strangers.

I thought the mission was complete…successful even. In all of my bliss I hadn’t noticed the postal clerk at the far end of the counter. The look on his face looked a bit bah-humbug-ish and I quickly added one more thing to my “envision it before you get there” theme. I visualized ME being his next customer (which I had no control over as you take which ever clerk becomes available next).

Guess what? I got him! He was a little tougher to penetrate. I could feel a VERY small part of myself saying, “sheesh! Listen buddy, if you don’t shape up I’m going to stop being Miss Happy Pants!” I gave that little voice a hug and told it to wait patiently for the magic that was about to occur.

To this point this clerk had not made eye contact with me. It was as if he were consciously attempting to avoid it. His words were quick, gruff, bordering on rude. They bounced off my ‘negativity vest’ and I watched them turn to sparkles of light that danced over our heads.

We were nearing the end of our short interaction, he was a bit annoyed that I was sending my cd’s in a penguin embossed envelope…and that I had chosen and filled out the wrong mailing label for my intended purposes. It was at that moment that I apologized and our eyes met. I said, “I’m SO sorry…can you help me make it right?” He melted. Suddenly, with no more than the blink of an eye we were on the same team; helping each other. He confided he was worried he was going to get a crabby person at his station. Can you believe that?? Obviously his walls were up ’cause he was defending himself just in case!

Talk about a moment made in heaven. I couldn’t have orchestrated this if I had tried. He trusted me now, so I said to him, “just be kindness and goodness…and see everyone who steps up to your counter as the same…before they get here…and I promise you, you have my word…you’ll get only kindness and goodness!

We smiled, he looked as if he at least half believed me (that part is out of my control…no attachment!)…and I went on my merry way!
