Inspiration

In the process of trusting his own dream into reality, Director, Producer and first time filmmaker, Oren Stambouli creates Trust 22; a movie that imbues the ideal that “believing a dream is the first step to seeing it…and not the last.”

Throughout the movie, a magical journey of trust, we meet a fantastic array of others~all holding the common theme of living your dreams while believing them into reality…we even meet a true life Fairy Godmother!

To maintain a level of anonymity and a relatable sense for anyone watching, Oren chose to have his story portrayed by four distinctly different actors, all living the same dream, telling the same story. I appreciate this quality. I love that it crossed gender, culture and different backgrounds or personality stories that people sometimes use to label or categorize each other. It supersedes, actually transcends all of that and seamlessly allows each of us to relate in our own way. We come away from the film feeling that each of us, no matter who we are or what our personal story has been have the power to create and manifest our dreams.

The story, narrated through these four actors–two men and two women, takes us along the path of trust; demonstrating that if we put a dream, a vision, an intention into action and support it with faith (TRUST) that this creates a positive vibe, a positive energy that the universe must respond to. We know this as the Law of Attraction. I felt that each of these actors subtly enhanced their character portrayal through the energy of the elements–earth, air, fire and water–offering another dynamic by which each of us finds ourselves knowing that this story can be and is everyone’s story.
At a time when movies like “What the Bleep do We Know” and “The Secret” are sweeping our planets awareness, “Trust 22” supports this path bringing us an inspiring, honest and fresh story about real people living real dreams…getting real results. It’s obvious that the seed of “Trust 22” was cultivated and nurtured in Oren’s heart, creating a knowing for him that led him to simply trust that the story needed to be told and in order to tell it he had to live it.

Throughout the movie “Oren” (played by four different actors) meets others who are consciously choosing to live their lives with positive intention in action to see their dreams come true. In the film we travel across the nation as well as cross continent to discover, Donna McCallum-a real life fairy godmother whose made a business helping to make others dreams come true, Verity-a South African singer/songwriter whose “Lucky Packet Project” is breaking new ground by pre-selling CD’s in order to create one and singer/songwriter Ricardo Montaner and his wife-Marlene Rodriguez and their incredible program “La Ventana de los Cielos” (the window of skies) whose purpose is assisting special needs children through animals and nature to name just a few. These were not people that Oren knew before the film; they ‘magically’ appeared on his path through serendipitous synchronicity as he stayed true to trusting the creation of his dream.

Conscious Media has a certain responsibility to uplift, inspire and educate with integrity. “Trust 22” meets that responsibility in a graceful and entertaining way; keeping our attention and motivating us as viewers to participate in this reality in our own lives. As this movie is about TRUST, I trust that this is the first of many creations in conscious media from Oren Stambouli and I personally look forward to the next installment.
